What Can Be Accessed

BakeSmart is built to run smoothly on a range of modern devices. Whether you’re managing your bakery from a laptop, processing orders on a POS station, or reviewing settings from a tablet, this guide outlines the system requirements based on how you plan to use the platform.


General Access (Non-POS Use)

You can access most BakeSmart features from any internet-connected device with a supported browser. This includes:

  • Smartphones
  • Tablets
  • Laptops
  • Desktop computers

Point of Sale (POS) Requirements

Devices running the BakeSmart POS system must meet the following minimum hardware specifications:

  • Must connect via RJ-11 (printer-driven interface)
  • Triggers drawer to open after a sale is completed

  • Honeywell Voyager 1470g
  • Datalogic QuickScan QD2500
