Exploring the Dashboard in BakeSmart
What Can Be Accessed
The Dashboard is the landing page when logging into BakeSmart online. It serves as the central hub for daily operations, including:
- Viewing and managing today’s scheduled orders
- Searching orders by customer name, phone number, date, status, or fulfillment type
- Filtering orders by location
- Starting a new order (based on permission level)
- Accessing order-taking mode (if permitted)
- Navigating to other core areas like Reports, Products, Orders, and Settings
- Logging out of your user session
How to Access the Dashboard
You will land on the Dashboard automatically when you log in to BakeSmart.
To return to the Dashboard at any time:
- Click Home in the top navigation bar
- Or close any other active window or view within the system
💡 The Dashboard is always just one click away—use it as your operational launch point.
Make Your Changes or View Info
From the Dashboard, you can:
View a list of orders scheduled for today’s date
Search orders by:
- Customer name or phone number
- Date range
- Paid/unpaid status
- Fulfillment method (Pickup, Delivery, or Shipping)
Filter by Location using the dropdown bar
💡 The default location is set by your Admin based on the device, but employees can switch locations to search other stores.
Select New Order or enter Order-Taking Mode, if your user role allows
Click tabs in the top toolbar to navigate to:
- Orders
- Products
- Customers
- Reports
- Settings
Click your initials in the top-right corner to log out
💡 If you have advanced permissions and are using a shared device, always log out when your session ends.
Tips for Using the Dashboard
- Use the Dashboard at the start of every shift to view current order activity
- Order search and filters make it easy to quickly locate customer info
- The layout adapts to your permissions—users only see what their role allows
- Be sure to use the location filter when supporting multiple stores
