Working with Standard Products in BakeSmart

Standard Products are managed in the Product Types section of the Products Menu on the Dashboard.

Here, you have access to your Categories and Subcategories, which control how products are grouped and displayed across BakeSmart.

This is also where the Options Lists are maintained. Options Lists allow you to assign simple selections like size, packaging, or flavor to Standard Products.

What Are Standard Products?

Definition: Standalone items that require no foundational building blocks (like Custom Templates or Collections).

Examples:

Bread loaves (Sliced or Unsliced)
Muffins (Mini, Regular, Jumbo)
Danish (Cheese, Cherry, Apple)
Homestyle Cookies (Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin)
